On Sept. 11, the Farmingdale Hawks 9-year-old team opened up against Baldwin. With a lot of heavy hearts, the team came out to play hard-nosed football. The team was involved in a hard-fought dogfight. The 9-year-old Hawks prevailed 7-6.

In week two, in another dogfight, the 9-year-old Hawks lost to Massapequa 7-0.

In week three, the Hawks had a convincing win against Uniondale and ended up winning with the score of 19-6.

After the third week, the 9-year-old Hawks knocked off two of the three top seats in their division.

In week four, the team traveled to Inwood and realizing the importance of this game, the team really stepped up by blasting Inwood 25-7.

The coaching staff would like to thank the players, parents, friends and cheerleaders who supported the 9-year-old Hawks and the entire organization.
