We are pleased to announce the successful turnout of patrons during the September Blood Drive where 57 pints of much-needed blood were collected. We were informed by the Long Island Blood Services that the blood was separated into their components and distributed to patients in hospitals throughout Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties within 24 hours.

It is indeed a special feeling to know that we were all able to help people in need. A special thanks to Rev. Flynn, the clergy, deacons, lectors, donors and many volunteers of the Knights of Columbus and Farmingdale Veterans of Foreign Wars. You are all silent heroes. God Bless you all.

Nick Iervolino (Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars member)
