Ethel S. Lindeman (nee Bacon), of Bethpage, died on Aug. 24, 2005. She was a former longtime Sunday School superintendent of the United Methodist Church of Bethpage and a member of its many organizations. She was a longtime member of the Bethpage Senior Citizen Friendship Club and the Bethpage Girl Scouts (Mid-Island and Nassau Councils), along with numerous volunteer endeavors throughout her life. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth F. and their daughter Carol Diane Lindeman.
