Sabellico, Torres Continue Dedication to Hispanic Youth
Thirteen years ago, Tom Sabellico, a community leader in Farmingdale, met Rosendo "Rusty" Torres, a former centerfielder for the New York Yankees. They formed an instant friendship based on their common love for helping children. They began presenting life skills programs and clinics for children. They then enlisted the help of friends and started distributing equipment to needy children and youth groups.

Local Youth Organizations to Host Fundraising Car Washes
Farmingdale Titans Cheerleaders are hosting a fundraising car wash on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Applebee's parking lot on Route 110 in Farmingdale. The donation will be $5 per car.
