Over the past few years the numbers of day workers on the streets in Farmingdale have gone up and up. Most just look away. You can't do that anymore now that they are on both sides of the street.
We have a system in this country. The same system my grand-dad used. He became a part of the system, like so many of his time who worked to make this country great.
Those who work outside the system just make it weak. Then when those who paid into it need help, there just might be nothing there.
Everyone has to work together. It can't keep going on this way. If it does, we all just might be on the streets calling to cars and trucks for a day's work.
