During the July meeting of the Farmingdale Board of Education, dates were established regarding the 2005/2006 school year.

Regular monthly meetings will be held on Sept. 14, Oct. 19, Nov. 2, Dec. 7, Jan. 11, 2006, Feb. 1, 2006, March 8, 2006, April 5, 2006, May 3, 2006 and June 7, 2006. All meetings will begin at 8 p.m. in the Howitt Middle School East Cafeteria.

Special meetings are scheduled for Aug. 31 (set tax levy), Nov. 16 (curriculum workshop) and Jan. 26, 2006 (curriculum workshop).

Special recognition meetings of the Farmingdale Board of Education will be held on March 1, 2005, May 9, 2006 and May 31, 2006.

Meetings regarding the 2006/2007 school budget are set for 2006. Budget workshops are slated for March 15, 2006, March 22, 2006 and March 29, 2006. A regular meeting and public input will take place on April 5, 2006, while adopting the budget for voter approval will occur on April 11, 2006. A special meeting to adopt the BOCES administrative budget is scheduled for April 25, 2006. Another public hearing for the 2006/2007 school budget will take place on May 9, 2006. The budget vote and trustee election is slated for May 16, 2006.
