Joan D. Duffy (nee Harvell), a 41-year resident of Bethpage, died on May 1, 2005. She was a sales cashier at King Kullen, Bethpage. Wife of Robert J. Mother and mother-in-law of Michael, Patricia and Jay Smith and Gerry and Ron Eager. She was predeceased in 1985 by her daughter Christine. Grandmother of Chrystal, Robert, Katie, Ryan, Matthew and Christopher. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Irene Mary Elizabeth Sauer, of Arlington, TX, formerly of New York, died on May 2, 2005. Wife of Richard. Mother of Jill Dobrovolski, Liz Murtagh and Chris Chiles. Sister of Egbert Rades and Randolph Rades. Grandmother of four. Great-grandmother of one. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Graveside service at LI National Cemetery, Pinelawn. Marian Honeyman Martin, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Hicksville and Bethpage, died on May 4, 2005. She was born in Freeport on March 27, 1935 to Ethel and Robert Honeyman. Surviving are her husband Gilbert Martin; four children, Debbie and Paul Willemann of Virginia, Robert and Beth Martin of New Jersey, Christopher Martin of Apex, NC, and Jennifer and Todd Lyden of Benson, NC; and her mother Ethel Honeyman McBride of Plainview; her brother R.D. Honeyman and Donna and Brian of Gaithersburg, MD; and 11 grandchildren. Joan Roach, of Lindenhurst, died unexpectedly on May 4, 2005. Mother and mother-in-law of Kathleen and William Janssen, John and Lori Roach, Dennis and Patrick. She was predeceased by her son William. Daughter of Rose Mortillaro. Sister of Jerry Macco, Angela Cutler and Mary Lou Kennedy. Grandmother of Angela, William, Joseph, Samantha, Dina, Nicole, Danielle and Laura. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Frank S. Bardsley, of Bethpage, died on May 7, 2005 at the age of 97. He retired in 1972 after 44 years of service with the NY Telephone Company. Father of David Bardsley, Joan Chinboukas and Robert Bardsley, Arline Messler, Jean Aldridge and Richard Kaufman. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Religious service at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx. Rosalie Marino, of Bethpage, died unexpectedly on May 10, 2005. Wife of Mike. Mother of Charles (Kathy), Mike, Anthony (Selena) and Paul (Happy). Sister of Jean and Marie. Grandmother of Charles, Cristina, Brandon, Lisa, Nicholas, Thomas, Olivia and Isabella. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church.
