The boys Varsity team finished the season in third place in their conference. Overall the team placed seventh in the county out of 42 teams with four-man team average of 797.4. The team was led by All-County bowlers' sophomore Nick Caravella, who finished the season with a 224.6 average, the highest average in their conference and third in the county, Kenny Seibert with a 219 average, the second highest in their conference and fourth highest in the county, and Brad Freiss, a junior with a 190 average. All three boys participated in the individual county playoffs. Junior Charlie Liotta, an All-Conference bowler, finished the season with a 176 average.

At the individual county playoffs, Kenny Seibert finished in first place, out of 70 county bowlers, with an average of 230 for six games and Nick Caravella finished in fifth place with a 218 average.

Both boys were part of the six-man All-Star team that represented Nassau County at the State Championships in Albany March 5.

The Nassau County team finished in fifth place with Kenny Seibert having the highest pin count in county overall for both Nassau and Suffolk Counties and Nick finishing only two pins behind in second place. It was a wonderful experience for both boys.

The Junior Varsity team also finished in third place in the conference. The team was led by James Micalizzi with a 189.9 average, who also received the award for the highest game in the conference with a 279, Dan DeRienzo with a 177.9 average and Mitch Kennedy with a 173.6, Nick Lombardi with a 165.2, and Sean Fiener 171.4. Other members included Alex and Evan Udowitch, Matt Flapan, Jeremy Toner and Dan Rice.

The boys are looking forward to next season with the entire Varsity and JV team returning, except for Kenny, who will be attending college in the fall and will be a member of either Briarcliff's or Bryant's bowling teams.

It has been a pleasure having him as a member of the team for the past five years and they all wish him much success.

The girls' Varsity team had a very successful year. We are pleased to announce that the team was led by All-County bowler Donna Pollina, who finished the season with a 167.5 average and represented Farmingdale for the first time at the individual county playoffs. Both Tracey Klicepera and Jackie Iovino received All-Conference awards finishing the season with 136 and 131 averages.

They are anxiously looking forward to next season. They are seeking more female bowlers interested in bowling from grades 8-12.
