Eighth Squad detectives from the Nassau County Police Department reported that four arrests were made for a gang assault that occurred in South Farmingdale on March 19 at 11:15 p.m.

Farmingdale's Mike Nusblat Completes First Ultramarathon
Congratulations to Farmingdale endurance athlete Michael Nusblat on successfully completing the 3rd annual Caumsett State Park 50 Kilometer Run, which was held on Sunday, March 6. Nusblat crossed the finish line in 4 hours, 37 minutes, 27 seconds, good for 13th place overall out of 61 finishers. This was the first time Nusblat has attempted the 31.07 mile "ultra" distance.

FHS Varsity Bowling Team Finishes Third in Conference
The boys Varsity team finished the season in third place in their conference. Overall the team placed seventh in the county out of 42 teams with four-man team average of 797.4. The team was led by All-County bowlers' sophomore Nick Caravella, who finished the season with a 224.6 average, the highest average in their conference and third in the county, Kenny Seibert with a 219 average, the second highest in their conference and fourth highest in the county, and Brad Freiss, a junior with a 190 average. All three boys participated in the individual county playoffs. Junior Charlie Liotta, an All-Conference bowler, finished the season with a 176 average.
