The Hribok Family would like to express their sincere thanks to each and everyone in the Farmingdale community who showed their caring support during a very difficult year as my mom was suffering from lung cancer. We moved to Farmingdale 10 years ago, getting to know new friends, neighbors, merchants and joining organizations has proven to be a positive thing. This community has really shown their true friendship as we tried to go about our daily lives. Businesses such as Stuff-a-Bagel, White Swan Dry Cleaners, Farmingdale Post Office, Mankers, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens and many more were constantly asking how things were going, showing that they truly cared. The outpouring response from the Hardscrabble Girl Scout Association and the Junior Women's League have been overwhelming as they dropped off complete meals to our home for several months. St. Luke's Church families have been supportive with all of the thoughts and prayers that have been sent. Receiving e-mails, uplifting and encouraging cards, meal certificates from so many friends has been so greatly appreciated at such a stressful time. Special thanks to Nancy White, of White's Funeral Home, who not only showed her professional side but also her caring compassionate friendship side. We thank everyone who has made donations to the Christa House and to the Meditation Garden, located at St. Luke's Church in my mother's name. Farmingdale has been a true family community to us and we thank everyone for the love and support that was given to us.
