Carol Hunt, a certified Yoga Instructor, in conjunction with PowerBar and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Triathlon program, recently held a Yoga & Stretching Clinic at the Runner's Edge in Farmingdale. Carol led a group of 15 athletes through a series of yoga "poses" and stretches and explained the methodology and value of each one. Yoga and stretching are important components in a fitness program and can assist a person in flexibility, coordination and stress reduction.
