Loretta Butehorn, of Bethpage, died on Jan. 22, 2005. Loretta will be remembered as a dedicated religious education teacher at St. Bernard's Parish School, Levittown, and an activist for many causes. Wife of Henry M. Mother of Loretta, Henry, Charlotte, Gabrielle, Charles, Frank, Joseph, Mickey Leanza, Rosie, Grace, Christopher and Matt. Grandmother of 15. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery, Pinelawn. Dominick J. Agiesta died at the age of 90 on Jan. 23, 2005. A resident of Bethpage since 1919, Dominick was the first commissioner of Bethpage Little League Baseball, a dedicated volunteer of the Bethpage Fire Dept., a member of the Rev. Michael Hartigan K of C #5033 and member of St. Martin of Tours Holy Name Society. He retired after 35 years of employment at Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage. A devoted family man, Dominick was a man of many talents. He did carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and automobile repairs. Dominick was a terrific athlete. He boxed, played baseball, bowled and even in his later years was able to beat his son-in-law and friends at golf. He was predeceased in 2003 by his wife of 60 years, Antonina "Lee" Agiesta. Father of Maierita and Paul Marino, Dominick and Wanda Agiesta. Grandfather of John, Melinda and Dominique. Great-grandfather of Alix Taylor Marino. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. Briggs (nee Ryan), of Bethpage, originally of Forest Hills, died unexpectedly on Jan. 24, 2005. Wife of Stephen. Mother of Steve, Debbie Baudille, Terri Giardina and Nancy Wagner. Mother-in-law of Loretta, Jimmy, Michael and Cliff. Sister of Mae McNamara and Peggy Stroh. Grandmother of Steve, Denise, Jimmy, Richy, Danny, Nicole, Samantha, Tommy and Taylor. Emilio Mariani, formerly of Farmingdale, died on Jan. 27, 2005. Husband of the late Lidia. Father and father-in-law of Nicola and Assunta Mariani.
