Kathryn (Kay) Harris, of Bethpage, died on Dec. 18, 2004. She was a 50-year member, secretary and past president of the Bethpage Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Wife of the late Edward R. Dortha Andon, of S. Farmingdale, died on Jan. 9, 2005. She married Peter Andon (WWII veteran, now deceased) in 1946. She was predeceased by her daughters, Barbara and "Baby Girl." Mother of Betty, Tom, Karen, daughter-in-law Laura, and sons-in-law, George and Barry. Grandmother of six. Great-grandmother of three. Also survived by her cousin, Mary Czcezil, and her best friends for life, Helene and Viola. A woman of hospitality, her home was your home. No one was ever turned away.
