Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias recently participated in the 17th Annual Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt Ho Ho Ho Holiday 5 Kilometer Run in Bethpage, sponsored by the Greater Long Island Running Club.

Approximately 1,194 runners registered and 1,006 finished the race, with well over a hundred kids enjoying the fun run. Toys were also collected and distributed to children served by the St. Mary's Children and Families Foundation and the Maryhaven Center of Hope.
