The Dec. 21 meeting of the Greater Long Island Running Club served as the Club's annual Awards Night for 2004, highlighted by a bunch of very special people receiving awards in recognition of their athletic accomplishments.

Farmingdale's Geza Feld was a proud award winner.

Many athletes from the Massapequas and Farmingdale were among those honored. Trisha Fasini of Massapequa scored as the Club's Bronze Medal Overall Club Champion for 2004, John Daly of Masspequa was the Club's Champion in the 50-54 age group, Geza Feld of Farmingdale was the Club's Champion in the 70-74 age group, and Mark Leff of Massapequa and John Stauber of North Massapequa were the Club's "Clydesdale" Champions for 2004.

"Our annual Awards Night is always something very special," noted Club President Mike Polansky, "and I was thrilled to be able to present these well deserved awards to such accomplished athletes as Trisha, John, Geza, Mark, John and all our other Club champions for 2004."
