Farmingdale freshman I'shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) and senior Sharon Billips combined for 42 points in the Rams 76-64 victory over Skyline Conference opponent Mount Saint Vincent (0-3, 0-1 Skyline). West finished with 20 points, including 16 during the second half of play. Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Rams to their first win of the season (1-2, 1-0 Skyline).
For Mount Saint Vincent, junior Laura Bucci (Irvington, NY/Our Lady of Victory) tallied 13 points and nine assists. Sophomore Kaitlin Morch (Brooklyn, NY/Bishop Kearney) added eight points and five rebounds.
The Rams fell to 1-2 overall after a non-conference 89-68 loss to the Baruch College Bearcats (4-1). Baruch won their third consecutive game and finished with five total players in double-digits. Louie Karis (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) and Cheick Fadika (Abidjan, Ivory Coast/Petit College, Morocco) led the Bearcats with 17 points each. The Rams were outscored 50-30 in the second half as they struggled shooting 22-percent from the field.
Farmingdale's Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) finished with 18 points and 19 rebounds, his third straight double-double. Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/Bryant) totaled 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Mike Kerrigan (Brooklyn, NY/South Shore) had 11 points, including three three's.
Farmingdale fell to 1-3 overall in a 78-86 loss to New Jersey City (3-2). The Rams showed promise early as they battled with the Knights throughout the first half taking the lead five times. Farmingdale trailed 43-39 at the half and could not gain the lead in the second.
Leaders for the Rams were Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) and Brandon Nieves (Harlem, NY/All Hallows) with 20 points each. McMillan also added 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Damien McKenzie (Lakeview, NY/Malverne) finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds, with 12 of his points coming in the first half.
Ben Balcom (Monroe, NJ/St.Patrick's) and Abraham Williams (Jersey City, NJ/Lincoln) led New Jersey City with 21 points each. Rajahn Jones (Roselle, NJ/Pocono Mountain) finished with 14 points and 3 steals.
Farmingdale (2-2) scored 48 points in the second after trailing 35-34 at halftime to take the 82-67 win over visiting New Jersey City (1-3). Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) led the Rams with 26 points, six rebounds and three steals. Freshman I'shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) finished with 22 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Regional) tallied six assists for Farmingdale. Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) had 12 points and nine rebounds. Dankery Perez (Manhattan, NY/Manhattan Center) totaled nine points, five assists and seven steals.
For New Jersey City, Arnese Goodman (Jersey City, NJ/Lincoln) led with 18 points, while Megan Kabba (Newark, NJ/Arts) and Erika Cubile (Jersey City, NJ/Acad. of Saint Aloysius) added 14 points each.
The Rams defeated Manhattanville College 66-56 in today's home Skyline Conference game. Farmingdale improved to 3-2, 2-0 Skyline, while the Valiants fell to 1-4, 0-1 Skyline. Manhattanville was plagued by turnovers with 36 as the Rams tallied 20 steals. Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) and Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) combined for 20 points in the first half to give the Rams a 29-23 lead. Billips finished with game highs of 18 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks. Williams totaled 16 points, including three three's.

For the Valiants, Beth Hickey (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Dobbs Ferry) led the team with 17 points and was 3-for-8 from three point land. Kait Herman (Fairfield, CT/Fairfield) finished with a double-double of 10 points and 11 defensive rebounds. Kim Reznicek (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Dobbs Ferry) finished with 12 points and 5 assists.
