Joseph A. Fortunato, of Farmingdale, died on Nov. 14, 2004. He was president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees of NC Chapter #471, treasurer of St. Kilian's Seniors, member of Farmingdale Knights of Columbus Council #2204, past president and former Man of the Year of the Columbia Association of Postal Workers of Brooklyn. Husband of Emma. Father and father-in-law of Laura and James Morandi, Joseph and Joyce and the late Rosemarie Whalen (Edward). Brother of Rocco and Marie Miller. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Hall, of Farmingdale, died on Nov. 16, 2004. She was acting president of the LI Bulldog Club. Wife of the late Edward. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Ethel M. Moynahan (nee Cavanagh), of Bethpage, died on Nov. 18, 2004. She was a member of the K of C, Rev. Michael J. Hartigan Columbiettes and the Mid-Island Irish American Club. Wife of the late George L. Mother and mother-in-law of Lynn and Ronald Quattrini and George T. and Mary Kaye Moynahan. Grandmother of Kelly Lauritsen, Laurie Nolan, Douglas Quattrini and Jennifer Moynahan. Great-grandmother of Conor and Patrick Nolan. Sister of Martha McNiff, Agnes Zehnle, Winifred White and Rita Hayden. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Burns, and brothers, Richard and Arthur Cavanagh. Fannie Macchio (nee Russillo), of Farmingdale, died recently at the age of 95. She was predeceased in 1962 by her husband Nicholas. Alfred Leone, 83, of Sun City Center, FL, died on Nov. 24, 2004. He retired from Levitz Furniture as a salesman. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Grace; two daughters, Marilyn Taylor (David) and Janice Lambertson; three brothers, Rocky, John and Augie Leone; a sister, Annette Paccione; two grandchildren, Heather Johnson and Timothy Lambertson; and two great-grandchildren, Max and Quinn Johnson.
