Michelle Antoinette Maddux Holmes was born on May 11, 1960 at Jamaica Hospital, NY. She was the third child of Robert and Dorise Maddux. She was raised in Farmingdale. She attended Farmingdale High School where she graduated in June 1978. She later attended Suffolk Community College where she received an associate's degree. She was the mother of son, Jemour Antoin Maddux and the mother of a daughter Daria Ann Maddux.
Michelle was a very caring and loving mother and her children were her pride and joy. She enjoyed hobbies such as crocheting, decorating and was an avid reader and she enjoyed cooking most of all.
A special union developed between Michelle and Orlando Holmes. They were married on June 16, 2001. They resided in Hempstead.
Michelle is survived by sister Paula Minkeson, brother Robert Maddux Jr., sister Yvette Jones, niece Sayisha Nelson, brother-in- law Leon Jones, mother-in-law Bessy Mae Devone and sister-in-law Antoinette Laverne Halsey and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and friends.

Sho Nakamori, of Bethpage, died suddenly at the age of 19 on Nov. 14, 2004. He was a Class of 2003 graduate of Bethpage High School. Cherished son of Keiji and Terumi Nakamori.
