Collision Claims Lives of Two Bethpage Teens
Earlier this week a one-car collision on Stewart Avenue in Bethpage claimed the lives of two Bethpage teens. Sho Nakamori, 19, was killed that night and Claudette Mangano, 15, died from her injuries a day later.

PAL-NFL Flag Football Notes
Three champions were crowned at Woodward Parkway Field on Sunday, Nov. 14 as Farmingdale's PAL-NFL Flag Football League closed its inaugural season. It was a festive day for all who came to play or watch. Trophies were awarded to players and free refreshments were available for everybody. Various elected officials also stopped by to congratulate the kids for a great year.

Golden Lions Take Aim at ASA Turkey Shoot Tournament
Softball teams beware because the Columbus Lodge #2143 Golden Lions (CL) has loaded their guns with the intention of making some noise at the ASA Turkey Shoot Out tournament on Nov. 20 in the Township of Brookhaven. Relax animal lovers, no dead birds at this tournament, just the best softball teams on Long Island looking to avoid the Golden Lions' lethal paws and swift bats. Last year's event drew 56 teams.
