William John Spaulding of South Farmingdale died at the age of 75 on Oct. 13, 2004. He was a Korean war veteran. Beloved husband of Lydia M; married 42 years. Devoted father of Charlotte A. Ellman and her husband Lawrence and Christine M. Lohwasser and her husband Karl. Dear grandfather of Christine Anne Ellman, Victoria Anne, Alexandria Marie and Christopher John Lohwasser. A funeral mass was held Monday, Oct. 18 at St. Kilian RC Church, with interment following in Calverton National Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the William E. Law Funeral Home. Rosemary C. Deacon, of Brookville, FL, died on Oct. 24, 2004. Mother, grandmother and friend to many. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Religious service held at the funeral home. Interment LI National Cemetery. Steven A. Haras, of Bethpage, died unexpectedly on Oct. 28,2004. Husband of Frances. Father of Steven Haras. Troge, of Massapequa Park, died on Oct. 28, 2004. He was a US Army veteran and a retired NYPD sergeant. Husband of Dolores. Father of Dianne Soja, Debbie Clyne, David Troge, Denise Troge, Dorothy Smith and Douglas Troge. Brother of Albert Troge and Beatrice Blake. Grandfather of nine. Guidone, of Farmingdale, died on Oct. 29, 2004. He was retired from the NYPD. Husband of Ann. Father, grandfather and friend to many. Persico, of Bethpage, died suddenly on Oct. 29, 2004. Wife of the late Frank. Mother of Sandra D'Arcangelo. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Wife of the late George. She is survived by nieces, Joan Mirro, Patricia Powers, Barbara Norat, Eileen McGough, Maryanne McCormick and nephew, Peter McCormick. Hallinan, 85, of Amityville, died on Nov. 2, 2004. Mother of Thomas Galliano and Jean Giffone. Grandmother of Thomas Giffone. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Prayer service and interment St. Charles Cemetery. Herman A. Colomban, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Laurelton, NY, died on Nov. 3, 2004. He was an Otis Elevator mechanic for many years. He is survived by Patricia. Father of Linda, Robert and Joseph. Brother and grandfather. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Religious services held at the funeral home. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Estelle Kosikowski, 91, formerly of Farmingdale, died peacefully at her son's home in Dover, DE, after a lengthy illness. Estelle was born near Warsaw, Poland on Jan. 2, 1913. She emigrated to the US at age 7 with her mother, Jane Suchenski, to meet her father, Thomas, who had previously emigrated. Estelle was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and was devoted to her family and her God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, who died in 1974, and by their daughter, Dorothy J. Posillico, who died in 1978. She is survived by her son, Robert (Ruth) of Dover; a brother, Frank Suchenski of Randolph, NJ; a sister, Angela Leck of Massapequa Park; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Local arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
