Take some time to read the following. It could be the difference between a happy Halloween and a sad unhappy one.
* Make a plan of where you plan to take your kids, leave the list with a family member in the event of a problem.
* Only go to homes and places you know.
* Respect "Beware of Dog" signs. They are there for a reason.
* Instruct your child never to enter a home.
* Some Halloween masks osbtruct children's vision from side to side.
* Carry flashlights - more the better. Reflective clothes are also advised.
* Stay in groups. Don't go to a door alone.
* Don't accept anything to drink.
* Discard any candy that is not factory wrapped.
This is a time to use common sense and good judgment. If you do - you will have that Happy Halloween.
