For those Nassau residents without a medical plan that covers prescription drugs, the cost of prescription drugs can be crippling financially. However, thanks to a discount plan established by Nassau County Comptroller Howard Weitzman, help is on the way.

Golden Lions Crowned King of 2004 RMH Sports Festival
It's been said that the ladder of success cannot be climbed with your hands in your pockets. On May 22nd drive, determination and commitment overcame years of frustration, last minute collapses, and heart wrenching defeats as the Columbus Lodge #2143 Golden Lions (CL) were crowned champions of the 10th Annual Business Cares for Kids Sports Festival softball tournament, after their 16-5 victory over the team from LISD, Inc.

Another 'Last Chance' for Soccer Registration
Due to all the inquiries about the fall soccer season - Farmingdale Soccer will take registrations for the last time on Saturday, July 10 from noon to 2 p.m. Anybody who can't make it that day must mail a check (payable to Farmingdale Soccer) in the amount of $105 to 700 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735 by July 10. Reminder: anybody not living in the Farmingdale School District must include a check for $50 payable to the Farmingdale Youth Council.
