Ken Garcia, JV Lacrosse Coach at Farmingdale HS, has been named the director of lacrosse for the LuHi summer camps. Garcia was a collegiate All-American, is currently a member of the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse and was recently honored to the Long Beach wall of Fame in 2003. Assisting Coach Garcia will be Rob Foley, coach at Howitt Middle School. Foley was a two-time National Champion while playing at Nassau Community College. Also attending will be Coach Mike Hungerford, who is an assistant coach for the Varsity Lacrosse Team.
Invited Farmingdale Alumni; Steven Panarelli will be the featured Defenseman at the Camp. Steven is a recent Farmingdale Grad who has many credits to his name including; two-time High School All-American, Under 19 World Team Gold Medalist and World Games Defensive MVP. Steven was also voted as Nassau County Defensive Player of the Year in 2003. Steven is now playing at Syracuse University. Tim Treubig will highlight the mid-fielders at the camp. Timmy graduated from Farmingdale in 2002 and is currently playing at Hofstra University. Timmy Rogers, also a Farmingdale grad, will assist Coach Garcia with the attack. Timmy is currently playing at Sacred Heart University. Other Farmingdale Staff include; Lenny Panarelli (Hofstra), Jeff Ryzanick, Walter Zalinkski (Quinipiac) and Frank Canizio (Nassau).
