Several boxes of brand new clothing will be available at very low costs to residents at the Stuart Thomas Manor on Tuesday, May 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. The selling of the merchandise, close to 1,000 pieces generously donated by New Balance and Discus, is being done to further help the family of Michael Mianulli, a Farmingdale High School student whose life changed drastically after an accident at a friend's party left him paralyzed from the neck down last summer. Ken Garcia, JV Lacrosse Coach at Farmingdale HS, has been named the director of lacrosse for the LuHi summer camps. Garcia was a collegiate All-American, is currently a member of the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse and was recently honored to the Long Beach wall of Fame in 2003. Assisting Coach Garcia will be Rob Foley, coach at Howitt Middle School. Foley was a two-time National Champion while playing at Nassau Community College.
