Charlotte F. Lewis died peacefully in her home on Feb. 27, 2004 at the age of 90. She was born in Oneida, NY on Jan. 21, 1914. After marrying Clarence E. Lewis in 1937, she lived in Farmingdale until 1957 when the family moved to East Lansing, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985. Surviving are her daughters, Marcia (Douglas) Relyea of Mount Clemens, MI and Carol (Larry) LaGrow of Alma, MI; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in East Lansing on Feb. 28. Those desiring may contribute to the Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum, Michigan State University Development Fund, 4700 Hagadorn Rd., Suite 220, East Lansing, MI 48823 in memory of Charlotte Lewis. Friends made in Farmingdale continue to be very special people in the lives of the Lewis family.

Tina Inez Grassel (nee Gendron), lifelong resident of Bethpage, died at the age of 46 on March 14, 2004. Wife of Paul J. Mother of Lani and Noelle. Daughter of Johanna and the late Elie Gendron. Eunice (Chickie) R. Weiss, lifelong resident of Farmingdale, died on March 15, 2004. She was a very active member of St. Kilian RC Church and first president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Farmingdale Hawks. Wife of the late Lewis E. Sr. Mother of Louis E. Anna Deyo, a longtime resident of Bethpage, died on March 16, 2004. She was a member of the St. Martin of Tours Christian Mothers Society.
