Eve Eskin Brown Foundation Holds Holiday Food and Toy Drive
The Eve Eskin Brown Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, helps victims of domestic abuse break the chains of domestic violence. This year, the foundation is holding its first annual Holiday Food and Toy Collection drive through Dec. 15.

Village to File Grant Applications
At the Nov. 18 Village of Farmingdale meeting, the board of trustees unanimously approved the authorization to file several grant applications to improve safety conditions throughout the village.

Farmingdale Baseball Honors Community Service and Sportsmanship
From spring into the summer months it is a common sight to see our children running around our parks and school fields clad in the uniforms of Farmingdale Baseball. More than a thousand children participate each year. As the various leagues finish their seasons we are used to recognizing their skills and achievements at special tournaments, baseball day and league playoffs and "world series." We are proud of all the children and how they develop their athletic skills throughout the season.

Dalers: Save the Date to 'Jump'
Farmingdale will bounce into 2004 with the Harlem Wizards when the basketball team visits Farmingdale High School on Monday, February 23, 2004. Doors open at 6 p.m., pre-game activities start at 6:30 p.m. and tip-off is at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Farmingdale Community Summit Council, the PTA, and Winning Beyond Winning. Tickets cost $9 and will go on sale January 5, 2004.
