The Hawks traveled to Uniondale to face a tough opponent. The defense once again came up big, with their third shut-out of the season. The defensive team of Tori Penn, Tommy Scrimo, Kyle Radtke, Rocky Santopadre, Daniel Toledo, Tyler Ward, Shane Mclune, Andre Johnson, Matt Costello, Justin Schrank and Ronnie Kramer shot down the Knights for the whole first half. In the second half, the Hawks took the ball behind the blocking of James Sunde, Nick Rivera, Joe Woodland, Bradley Amazon, Chris Pochat, and Tommy Dwyer and marched the ball down the field. With the traditional Farmingdale power running game Tori Penn ran for 65 yards on the opening drive to the 1 yard line. Tyler Ward took a quarterback streak in for the first score. With great lead blocking by Santopadre, Radke and Penn were able to move the ball the whole second half. The final score came on a naked bootleg by Tyler Ward for a 40-yard touchdown. Both extra points were scored by Tori Penn. Bradley Amazone ran for the first time gaining 15 yards.

The second half defense of Casey Gordon, Robert Brienza, Dwyer, Rivera, Schrank, Sunde and Woodland kept the shut out streak alive for the third week.

It was a great team effort for the Hawks. Thanks to all the parents. Next week is 12:30 p.m. in Bellmore.
