Getting involved + volunteer work + community service = a great benefit to the kids of the Farmingdale School District. The equation is a rather simple one but the outcome is most profound. Each and every time someone donates their time, efforts and energy, the results are positive.

As the Friends of Farmingdale Athletics enters into their fourth year of existence, the organization has sponsored numerous projects and fundraisers in support of the athletic and associated programs at Farmingdale High School. All this activity comes as a direct result of parental support. Without the help of many, many people, the FFA would not exist.

As the 2003-2004 school year begins, the FFA will start to plan and execute fund-raising events to assist the Daler athletic and associated programs. To accomplish this task, they encourage all of you, from the elementary level to the Howitt Middle School and the high school, to participate. The organization needs your support in the form of active membership, as liaisons to the various teams and support groups and development of creative ideas to enable the club to continue to move forward.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Farmingdale Community Center located at Allen Park on Motor Parkway in Farmingdale. The meeting will commence at 7:30 p.m. Information and membership applications will be available. Contact us with any questions at GoDalersFFA@optonline.net

I look forward to seeing you there.

Frank Nocerino

President
