Andre Hubbard, 87, of Farmingdale, died on Aug. 29, 2003. Husband of Jean Merritt Hubbard for 62 years. Brother of Barbara Hubbard and Nancy Law. Brother-in-law of Jessica Griffiths. Father of Alan, Thomas, David and Nathaniel. Father-in-law of Nora. Grandfather of Christopher, Jeremy, Jennifer, Graham, Matthew, Natalia, Jonathan and Jesse. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. A memorial service will be held on Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Bethpage Friends Meeting House, Quaker Meeting House Rd., Farmingdale. Interment private. Graveside service and interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Agnes D'Annolfo, of Old Bethpage, died on Aug. 30, 2003. Wife of the late Frank J. Sr. Mother and mother-in-law of Frank Jr. and Suzi and Raymond and Patricia. Grandmother of seven. Great-grandmother of 14. Arrangements were made by the McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.

David A. Bresee, 63, of Auburn, died on Aug. 31, 2003. David was born July 17, 1940 to the late Willard E. and Marjorie Brown Bresee and was raised in Gouverneur, NY. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a BS in secondary education. He dedicated his 35-year career to teaching earth science. He worked in the Farmingdale School District for more than 30 years, where he was a devoted teacher, track and field coach, supervisor of the summer Youth Council program and an active member of the teachers' union. He may be remembered best as the teacher that challenged his students with the hypothesis "The earth is flat." Dave retired to Auburn with his wife, Carol, and their grandson Kyle in 2001.

David A. Bresee

Dave loved sharing time and laughter with his family and friends. He was an enthusiastic supporter of his grandsons in all their sport activities, always there cheering from the sidelines.

David is survived by his wife, Carol Bresee and his grandson, Kyle, of Auburn. Also remembering him are: daughter, Bonnie Serling (Steven), daughter, Tammy Rice (Patrick), son, Glenn Wasdin (Karen), son, Andrew Wasdin (Tammy); and eight grandchildren. David was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Bresee.

Arrangements were made by Farrell's Funeral Service, Auburn. Burial services at Hailesboro Cemetery, Hailesboro, NY. Contributions may be made in David's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the Owasco Volunteer Fire/Rescue Dept.

Deborah C. Kelly (nee Brandon), of Bethpage, died on Aug. 31, 2003. Wife of the late Walter J. Kelly. Mother and mother-in-law of James and Susan, Colleen and James Gallo, John Kelly and Deborah and Douglas Pfeifer. Cornell, 84, of Bethpage, died on Sept. 2, 2003. He was a WWII US Army veteran. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret A. and by their daughter Margaret P. Cornell. Grandfather of Lisa Cahn, Sandy (Thomas Pellegrino) Cahn, Daniel Cahn, Brian Nordin, Jacqueline (Andrew Schuetze) Nordin and David Nordin. Great-grandfather of Sara Joy Pellegrino. Stepfather and father-in-law of Michael (Theresa), John (Karen), Kevin (Dawn) and Brian and Brendan. Also survived by six grandchildren.
