Elizabeth Martinez, of Brooklyn, died on Aug. 10, 2003. Wife of the late Raymond. Mother of Raymond and Isadore. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Religious service held in the funeral home. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. John DiPrima, of Farmingdale, died on Aug. 13, 2003. Husband of the late Rose. Father and father-in-law of James, John and Deb Cacioli (Victor). Also survived by many other family members and friends. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery. Edward J. Buckley, of Flushing, died on Aug. 14, 2003. Father of Michelle, James, Richard and Peter. Grandfather of Amanda and Shayla. Nephew of Kathleen O'Hare. Brother of Sally Engelhardt, Robert, James, Mary Johnson and the late Frank. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kevin RC Church, Flushing. Cremation private. Anthony "Tony" Orobona, 92, of Bristol, TN, died on Aug. 16, 2003, in Wellmont Hospice House. Mr. Orobana was a native of NY. Before coming to Bristol, he had been a Farmingdale volunteer fireman since 1927. He had lived in Bristol for the past six years. He retired in 1975 from Republic Aviation in Farmingdale. Mr. Orobona was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Orobona of Bristol; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bob Bannish of Bristol; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sharon Orobona of Naples, FL; three brothers, Frank Orobona of LI, Don Orban of Florida, and Ray Orobona of Florida; two grandchildren, Jill Christine Bannish and Brian Leonard Bannish. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held on Aug. 19 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Maier, celebrant, and Rev. Mr. Harry Hall, assisting and hmelist. Committal was held Aug. 20. Arrangements were made by the Akard Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steele's Rd., Bristol, TN 37620. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family at kdoak@aol.com. Mabel G. Isoldi, of Farmingdale, died on Aug. 17, 2003. Wife of the late Gus. Mother of Corinne Spagna and Paulette (Marc Aspesi). Grandmother of David Aspesi (fiance Giovanna). Also survived by six sisters and sister-in-law Rose. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral was officiated by Father Thomas Garone followed by graveside services at St. Charles Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Father Thomas Garone, 27 Maple Av., Farmingdale, NY 11735.
