Town Works to Keep Future Generations in Oyster Bay
In an effort to help keep future generations in the Town of Oyster Bay, Councilman Anthony Macagnone recently proposed a comprehensive First Time Homebuyers Plan which would allow for affordable housing to be built for young residents. The councilman said that the he hopes this plan will help the young families of Oyster Bay make the dream of home ownership a reality.

A Different Kind of Graduation
The commencement exercises were a little smaller and more subdued than your average graduation, but the Farmingdale Evening High School Class of 2003 beamed with as much pride as any valedictorian when they rose to receive their diplomas. Before that big moment, a few of the graduates took to the podium to speak about the tough but empowering journey to earning their diplomas.

It was a beautiful evening at Citibank Park. The Farmingdale Wolves Boys U-11 travel soccer team and the Plainedge U-11 Girls travel team were there not only to watch the Long Island Rough Riders soccer team, but also to participate in the half-time Mini-Match Challenge game.
