    OTH game results from June 27 had Changing Times and J-2 battling to a 12-12 tie. CT came back with 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game with Danny Haus getting the key, game tying hit. Having big nights at the plate for CT were Rob Bischof (4-4) and Billy Wahl (3-4). Defensively the trophy winner was Charles Conners for his outstanding defense. The Synergy - Bar Boy game brought back memories of hard fought games of years past, this time with Synergy coming out on top 19-14. Tom Vanasco continued to show that he is one of the league's big hitters with a 3-3 night including 2 HRs. Timely hitting by Larry Lembo, Bruce Coonan, Billy Fitzpatrick and Dennis Oehl brought in the runs Synergy needed for victory. The last National League result had Moby over Bethpage PT 17-7. On the American League side, M&T continued their winning ways beating Mers 20-16. Vince Cardulo was again the hitting star for M&T, collecting 3 hits including a HR and 3 RBIs. Also getting 3 hits were Nat Corrao and Tom LaCorte. Bill Kelly added 2 hits and made a sensational diving catch that saved 2 runs. The middle game paired Singletons against O'Sheas with Singletons coming out on top 11-3. A true team effort kept Singletons ahead from start to finish, with sharp defense, including 3 DPs, and timely hitting when it counted most. Multiple hit games were had by Paul Canalattos, Dennis Passaretti, Steve Buchter, Frank Gordon and a huge 3 run homer by Bob Davis. Also, hats off to Frank Gordon who pitched a magnificent game in holding O'Sheas to only 3 runs. In the late game, Barco won their 6th in a row, edging out Darien 11-5. Leading Darien was Jerry Mazza (3-4) and Tom "T" Ball (2 hits) as their record fell to 3-5. For Barco, offensive leaders were Terry McPartland (2 hits,4 RBIs), and Steve Jacobson, Kevin Maloney, Steve Schwind, Bill Stack, each 3-4. Terry McPartland again sparkled in the field for Barco, giving pitcher Gary Jambor terrific defensive support, who also gets backing from his daughter Sara via good luck kisses. PS Laura ... the old man (GJ), who you made fun of for "sucking wind," is going to beat you, he's not so slow. FULL STORY
