Walter H. Zirk, of Bethpage, died on May 26, 2003. He lived on a family farm in Hicksville since 1926 and worked at Grumman Aircraft for 35 years. Husband of the late Lottie and Terry. Father of Walter H. Jr. Brother of William, Carol and the late Mildred and Dorothy. Grandfather of Patricia, Walter III and William. Father-in-law of Dolores. Brother-in-law of Nick Pagano. Great-grandfather of Nathan. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Nicholas Sorgente, of S. Farmingdale, died on June 7, 2003. He was retired from NYPD. Husband of Mary. Father and father-in-law of Nicholas and Theresa and Diane and Michael Pedicini. Son of Anna. Grandfather of Michelle, Jennifer, Antoinette and Nicholas. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Annie Walker, of E. Farmingdale, died on June 9, 2003. Wife of the late Elvin. Mother of Ethel Sucharski. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Hugh F. Ashford, of Bethpage, died on June 12, 2003. "Doc" of Bethpage Chiropractic for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Masons and the Bethpage Rotary Club. He was predeceased in 1993 by his wife Angela. Father and father-in-law of Dennis and Laurie and the late Hugh James Ashford. Grandfather of Olivia. Also survived by his companion Marcia. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F.
