The Farmingdale Baseball League (FBLI) annual Baseball Day will be held on Saturday, June 7 at Allen Park. The events start at 9 a.m. and goes throughout the day, culminating with a Managers/Coaches softball game at 8 p.m. There will be skill competitions for many of the divisions with all-star games for the older boys and girls divisions. Food will be available from Applebee's and Annabella's. There will be a giant 28' slide, carnival games, popcorn, cotton candy and Italian ices from Ralph's.

This year there will be a special appearance from the LI Bombers, who will plan an exhibition Beeperball game versus a team from FBLI. The Bombers are a team of blind and visually impaired players who travel around Long Island playing against sighted teams to raise awareness of what people can achieve despite obstacles they may face. The game is scheduled for noon. Fans will also have an opportunity to try and hit the "beeper ball" blindfolded to see how difficult it really is.

Farmingdale Baseball invites everybody to come to the park and share in the fun.
