Florence Marrinan, 93, of Lecanto, FL, formerly of Farmingdale, died on May 8, 2003. Wife of the late John T. Sister of Anne Merz. Sister-in-law of Doris Duggan and Maureen Duggan. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, additional family members and many, many friends. Florence was the fourth of nine children of Patrick and Mary Duggan. She was a teacher in the NYC School System for 50 years. She was extremely proud of all the lives she was able to touch throughout her extraordinary teaching career. In 1943 she married John T. Marrinan and they were married 24 years until his unexpected death in 1967 from a heart attack. Upon her retirement from teaching in 1982, she relocated to Florida to be near her sister, Anne and brother-in-law, John J. Merz. She continued her active pursuit of life after retirement becoming an involved parishioner of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and by actively volunteering in her community. Until a car accident in August 2002, she had lived independently in her own home in Dunnellon, Fl. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F.
