White Funeral Home. Interment LI National Cemetery. Frederick H. Schermer, 97, former 40-year resident of Bethpage, died on April 3, 2003. He was predeceased in 1985 by his wife, Pauline. He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Huebner of Chandler, AZ and Paula Mahoney of Naples, FL. Since leaving Bethpage in 1972, Mr. Schermer had been alternating living with both daughters.
