Farmingdale State University will be the host of this year's Relay for Life, an overnight celebration of hope, progress and answers held in honor and celebration of millions of Americans who have survived cancer, to remember those who lost their lives to cancer and to raise funds to fight the disease. The Farmingdale Community Summit Council, Inc. is hosting the first annual Farmingdale Summit on Thursday, March 6 at Farmingdale High School from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The event, entitled "Farmingdale - A Community of Opportunity," will feature an Expo Hall, Health Fair, Town Hall Meeting with elected officials, food and entertainment.
