Raymond A. Braccia, 69, formerly of Bethpage, died on Dec. 17, 2002. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He was predeceased in 2000 by his wife Iris. Father of Steven Braccia and Lisa Ragano. Falcone, 84, died on Dec. 22, 2002. A WWII Army veteran, he was awarded various medals including recently, the Normandy Jubilee Medal of Honor. Bill retired after 35 years of service with Sperry Univac/Unisys Corporation as an illustrator. He was predeceased in 2000 by his wife of 56 years, Sylvia. He is survived by his children, Loretta Glatzer, Patrice Alch and Robert Falcone. Grandfather of Jenna Glatzer, Paul Glatzer, Kim Falcone, Lisa Glatzer, Billy Alch, Matthew Falcone and Mark Falcone. Leo J. Moran, Postmaster of Farmingdale from 1956 to 1972, died on Dec. 31, 2002 in Clearwater, FL at age 86. He retired in 1972 and moved to Florida in 1979 with his wife Honey who predeceased him in 1991. During his retirement he owned and operated a small woodworking business and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Mr. Morgan was a native of Boston, MA, and moved to Farmingdale in 1942. He served as postmaster during the period of its greatest growth and the building which now stands was constructed during his term. He was also active in community affairs having served as financial chairman of the March of Dimes, the Boy Scouts, the United Fund and the Cancer Drive.

He is survived by twin daughters, Pamela of Riverhead and Patricia of Tuckahoe, NY; a son Brian of Merrick; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey; two stepchildren, Violet of Holiday, FL, and Charles of Oakland, ME. A service was held in Clearwater.

Theodore V. Isoldi, of Bethpage, died on Jan. 2, 2003. A teacher, he was a retiree of Levittown schools after 30 years of dedicated service. He was best remembered as high school cross country and track coach and elementary school Gilbert & Sullivan Operettas. He organized and directed the Levittown and Bethpage Soap Box Derby in coordination with the All American Soap Box Derby. He was a WWII Air Force veteran serving as flight chief and serial gunner in the China, Burma and India areas. Husband of Anna. Father of Laraine Scalia and Ted Isoldi. Also survived by five grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
