The Farmingdale Historic Plaque Program recognizes homes within the village built prior to 1940 that have historic or architectural significance. The most recent home selected is located at 31 Rose Street and was once owned by Christopher and Carolyn Beierling.

Bethpage Community Park to Partially Reopen
With the ice skating season approaching, Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto recently announced that there will be a partial reopening of some facilities at Bethpage Community Park on Friday, Nov. 29. Bethpage Community Park is a town-owned facility which was donated to the Town of Oyster Bay in 1962. The 18-acre park is located on the west side of Stewart Avenue near its intersection with Cherry Avenue. Park facilities include a swimming pool, playground, baseball field and picnic area available to local residents.

Massapequa and Farmingdale Angels Fly in Four Mile Run
Athletes from Massapequa and Farmingdale were especially prominent as over 200 local runners and race walkers braved the Oct. 12 rainstorm to compete in the third annual Race with the Angels 4 Mile Run at Eisenhower Park.

Conference I High School Football Championship
The Dalers take on Baldwin at Hofstra this Friday at 7 p.m. for the Conference Championship. Baldwin was the only team to defeat the Dalers during the regular season. This marks the fourth consecutive appearance for Farmingdale. The Dalers won in 1999 and 2001. Come out and support the varsity football team.
