The fourth grade White team once again came up against a worthy opponent. In what turned out to be an exciting seesaw battle, it was only fitting that the final score rested at a 10-10 tie. This would not have been possible except for the tenacious goal-tending by Megan Planz (18 saves) whose outstanding play in the fourth quarter preserved the tie.

Rockville Centre jumped out strong with a 2-0 lead. Alyssa Cardillo (3 goals) quickly answered putting Farmingdale on the board. This sparked the girls offensively. Jordyn Hasemann (4 goals) came alive and proceeded to score 2 unanswered goals putting Farmingdale up 3-2, a lead that would not be relinquished. Passing and ground ball play has improved steadily throughout this hard fought season. Key plays by Brianna Kane, Samantha Smith, Kelly Grzinic and Lauren Connors proved to be a determining factor in the offensive drive. As Sarah Mulcahy (1 goal), Katie Murphy (1 goal), and Alexis Rzempoluch (1 goal) rounded out the scoring.
