The fourth- and fifth-grade girls are coming to the end of a fantastic season as the last four playoff teams battled Tuesday night for the right to advance to the final game next Monday.

In the first game, Jerry Mazza's Red Liberty defeated the blue team 28-8. The liberty came out fast putting together a 9-0. Michelle Kuchinskas, Nicole Andrews and Nicola DeVine led the charge offensively assisted by Jackie Mazza's nifty passing and defense. Stephanie Ringbauer again was a major force scoring and rebounding. Stacey Lekowitz and Kellie Murphy were standouts for the blue team that mounted a fourth-quarter comeback.

In the second semi-final, Mike Kendar's orange team won a hard-fought battle over the green Bahama Mamas 22-19. It was close all the way with several swings in Momentum. Michelle Cartwright, Stephanie Rice, Christine Pica and Joanna Poscillico led the orange team turning into outstanding efforts at both ends of the court. Jamie McPartland, Katie Wong And Regina Bates all played a great game and left nothing on the court. All the girls on each team should be congratulated for their commitment and effort.
