Robert M. Shea died suddenly on March 11, 2002. He was an active member of The Dive Club. Son of Katherine and the late Thomas Shea. Brother and brother-in-law of Kathy and Patrick Duffy. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Marie F. White, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Farmingdale, died on March 13, 2002. Wife of John. Mother of Christopher, Stephen and Cathy. Sister of Maryola and Robin. Jacob George Zachman, of Wesley Chapel, FL, died on March 14, 2002. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Wesley Chapel in 2000 from Massapequa. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a retired Ornamental Iron Worker of Local 580, former volunteer fireman in Valley Stream and a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his children, Thomas Jacob Zachman and Laura Zachman and his brother, Edward Zachman, all of Farmingdale. Grandfather of Alison, Katherine, Gregory, Thomas, Ryan, Julia, Alex and Amanda. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Donations in Jacob's memory can be sent to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Farmingdale, or the Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Dept. Helena Putallaz, of Bethpage, died on March 15, 2002. Mother of Louis Putallaz. Also survived by many other family and friends. Robert G. Baldwin, of Farmingdale and Boynton Beach, FL, died on March 17, 2002 at the age of 81. He was an ex-chief and 55-year member of Hook, Ladder Host Co. #1, Farmingdale Fire Dept. and a Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Baldwin owned and operated Fred & Fred Lumber in Massapequa from 1950 to 1996. His wife, Irma, survives, as do his children, Sherry Banz of Boynton Beach and Robert S. Baldwin of Massapequa. Also surviving is his sister, Carol Baldwin of Farmingdale; five grandchildren, James and Jonathan Banz, Laura (Banz) Russo, Robert and Amy Baldwin; and one great-grandchild, Anthony Russo.

A memorial service will be held on April 14 at 2 p.m. at the Farmingdale United Methodist Church, Main St. and Grant Ave., Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Anne Del Bagno, of Ozone Park, died on March 18, 2002. Wife of Paul J. Mother of Joseph. Sister of Angela Narbutt and Michelina Frappollo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bacani Sr., of Farmingdale, died on March 19, 2002. Husband of the late Agustina. Father and father-in-law of Rogelio and Lucita Bacani, Perlita and Conrado Salonga, Jose Jr. and Adoracion Bacani, Efren and Susan Bacani, Rick and Isidora Bacani and Renato and Rosario Bacani. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as three brothers. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. William F. Duggan, 76, of Hutchinson Island, FL, formerly of Farmingdale, died on March 20, 2002. He was retired from NYPD, a Navy veteran of WWII and member of Treasure Coast 10-13 Club. Husband of Theresa for 52 years. Father of William (Loretta), James (Eileen), Lt. Commander Peter Duggan and Veronica Jones (John). Also survived by six grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Lorraine C. McCabe died on March 21, 2002. She was a former Marine Corps sergeant serving during WWII and a member of the Women's Marine Association and the Marine Corps League. Mother of Lorraine Asti, Joseph and James McCabe.
