Bob Cook is all smiles as he heads for the Caumsett State Park finish line.

Farmingdale resident Bob Cook recently scored in second place in the 55 to 59 age group in the Caumsett State Park 4 kilometer run on Feb. 3. The run was part of the Winter Series of State Parks races hosted by the Long Island State Parks Region. Cook completed the 4K course in 18 minutes, 51 seconds.

In addition to residing in Farmingdale, Cook is the proprietor of The Runner's Edge, located on Main Street in Farmingdale, that has catered to the needs of runners and triathletes for more than a decade. He is also a proud member of the Greater Long Island Running Club.
