He was a Marine Corps S/Sgt. having served from 1934 to 1938, again in the Pacific Theatre from 1942 to 1945. Following his service, he was employed for 40 years with the Pennsylvania Railroad. Husband of the late Marjorie. Brother-in-law of Irene Krieg and her brother, Donald Bunga. Uncle of Gail and Clifford Travers, James and Mary Krieg, David and Laura Krieg.
