Several members of the Sons of Italy-Columbus Lodge #2143 and New York Yankee Almuni Roy White are teaming up on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to raise money for the widows' and victims' families on Feb. 13 at Leonard's of Great Neck from 7 p.m. till 11 p.m. Presented by the Roy White Foundation, the event will include an evening with stars of various New York area sports teams.

According to Vincent Annunziata, the event will include New York sports' legends for the Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants, Islanders, Rangers and Knicks. Among the expected guests are Craig Nettles, Sparky Lyle, Keith Hernandez, Joe Klecko, Harry Carson, Bobby Nystrom, Clark Gilles, Rod Gilbert and Earl the "Pearl" Monroe. Also scheduled to appear is former heavyweight champion Larry Homes.
The master of ceremonies for the event is expected to be Chris "Mad Dog" Russo and special guest stars will include musician Eddie Layton and comedian Jack Fontana. The event will include an extended cocktail reception, free autographs and photo opportunities, dinner and open bar.
