This Sunday morning, January 20, I walked up the steps to the front entrance of the Farmingdale United Methodist Church for the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship Service and I saw the graffiti you scrawled at the Church entrance. Needless to say I was taken aback by its presence on the steps landing leading to the doorway of the sanctuary. You may not know it but our church is a Welcoming Church. The People of the United Methodist Church proclaim to the world our Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors. I would ask you to think about the graffiti you chose to scrawl at our entrance and its effect not only on the quality of life of the members of our church but also on the quality of life of all our Farmingdale community. Our doors are open to you. Why not come forward and help in removing your inappropriate graffiti?

Member of the Farmingdale United Methodist Church
