Fire Breaks Out at Liberty Site
Between the hours of 9 and 9:30 a.m. last Friday morning, a fire broke out at the Liberty Industrial Site on Motor Avenue in Farmingdale. The South Farmingdale Fire Department immediately responded to the scene, assisted by other local fire departments.

Columbus Lodge Holds Children's X-Mas Party
Last Saturday, the Sons of Italy-Columbus Lodge #2143 held their annual Children's Christmas Party for the children and grandchildren of the members of the lodge, which was held at the Stuart Thomas Manor, located at 2143 Broadway in South Farmingdale. This year's event proved extra rewarding as the lodge members invited children from local families who were affected by the World Trade Center tragedy of Sept. 11.
