Making history as the first football team to win a Long Island Championship at Farmingdale is very special. Much has been made of championship rings, as they would be a well-deserved keepsake for the boys to commemorate a special accomplishment.

The Farmingdale High School Athletic Department is appealing to residents to help them defray the cost ($200 each) of the boys' rings. Anybody who would like to sponsor a particular player is asked to let them know. Any donation of any size would be greatly appreciated.

All donations are tax deductible. Checks may be made out to Friends of Farmingdale Athletics. Residents are thanked in advance for their consideration and kindness. Any questions may be directed to Buddy Krumenacker at Farmingdale High School, 752-6620.
