John E. Russell, 77, of Farmingdale, died on Oct. 2, 2001. A veteran of WWII, USN, John was the devoted husband of Catherine for 51 years. Beloved father of Tracy Heller and her husband Lenny, Helen Tori and her husband Bill, Peter Russell and his wife Emily. Mr. Russell was predeceased by his son John E. Russell Jr. Proud grandfather of Rachel Heller, Amanda, Conner and Samantha Russell. He was the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. His funeral was at St. Kilian RC Church.
