I recently had the great pleasure of receiving the adults first annual Farmingdale Baseball League Inc.'s Thomas Fusaro Sportsmanship Award. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who were responsible. I was truly moved and deeply touched by this recognition.

What makes this award most special to me is the fact that it honors Tom Fusaro. Over the last several years I've had the good fortune of coaching with, and sometimes against Tom. Regardless of which, it was always a pleasure to share the same field or court with him. And, like many of you, I will miss that.

I'm proud to have an award that bears his name. Thank you again.
